Visa Cost for Americans?Country forums / Eastern Europe & the Caucasus / Russia
Hey all, | ||
Here are the visa fees at the Washington DC embassy. Probably going to be similar if you get a visa in Israel. | 1
The fee is $160 for any visa, from a Transit Visa for 72 hours or a 3 year multiple entry visa and all in between. Not all consulates are able to issue a visa for a foreign national unless that have resident permits for the country they are applying in. In the past, it was possible to get a visa in Kiev at the Russian Consulate in 10 days without being a resident of Ukraine and in Warsaw without being a resident of Poland but not the surrounding countries. Not any more. In fact you are likely to get extra scrutiny as an American living in Israel and traveling via stops in Kiev. | 2
