Does anybody know the price of a Vietnam 3 month multiple entry visa from Phnom Penh, Cambodia?? Also is there a cheaper and still safe way to obtain a 3 month multiple entry vietnam visa from the UK, rather than pay the london embassy price of 105 pound?? My gf is coming to visit me and i feel mad guilty asking her to fork out 105.
The Capitol Bus Company in Siem Reap has just quoted me US$85 | 1
On the official website of Vietnamese immigration department, the price is 50 USD for multiple entries under 6 months. I heard that Vietnam visa fee raised 20 USD from 2013 so expect to pay around 80 USD for visa service from travel agent in Cambodia. | 2
All of the official Government web sites are out-dated.They are still citing US$25 for a 30 day | 3
The cheapest is to get a visa on arrival with a letter of invitation from Immigration BUT it is feasible ONLY IF YOU ARRIVE BY AIR, not by land. Open http://www.orientalbridge.com/visa-service.htm it explains everything and you can get the letter online | 4
As another poster said, going to the Vietnamese Embassy in Phnom Penh is expensive. Last month I paid $125 there for a three-month multiple-entry visa. | 5
I recommend you get a "Visa-on-arrival" letter from a reputable travel agency like "Hotels in Vietnam" and then obtain your visa when you arrive. This is assuming you are arriving by air into one of the major airports as Visa on arrival can't be used for land border crossings or small airports last time I checked. If you book any hotel accommodation through Hotels in Vietnam they will give you a further discount on your Visa on arrival letter and they have great hotel rates. This should reduce your costs significantly. Enjoy! | 6
From these postings it's unclear to me whether by getting a visa on arrival, there is a fee for the immigration letter and a fee for the visa upon arrival. If that is the case, I don't see much of a cost savings by doing it this way. | 7

I will give you an example of savings: We are Canadian and getting a 3 month, Multiple entry Visa through the Vietnamese Embassy in Canada costs $121 per person. You must ship your passport by registered mail with a return registered mail envelope to the Vietnamese Embassy in Ontario at a cost of about $15 each way. This equates to a total cost of just under $300 for two people. Earlier this year we obtained two "Visa on arrival" letters prior to leaving home at a total cost of $28. When we arrived in Vietnam we submitted the visa on arrival letters and $50 each and about 20 minutes later we were through immigration an out on the street in Saigon. Total cost $128. COST DIFFERENCE $172 Hope this helps. | 9
