| drewdogy14:24 UTC02 May 2013 | Just a quick note to update the information on how to reach Xieng Khuan (Buddha park) from Vientiane since the LP's description is inaccurate and seems a bit out of date. First, catch the public bus 14 (airconditioned) to the Friendship Bridge (cost 6000 kip per person) and then transfer to a rickety old small bus that will transport you the remaining 5 km (cost 2000 kip person). It takes around 45 mins to an hour to the Friendship Bridge, then around another 20 minutes to the Buddha park. The sculptures in the park and quite intriguing and well worth the visit.
