Is there any discount shopping in Vienna (outlet stores, department stores, etc.) rather than the tourish shopping districts?

From your previous question, it looks like you might be staying near Mitte station where you have plenty of shopping options in the immediate vicinity, especially just around the corner on nearby Landstrasser Hauptstrasse...

Vienna is not exactly a prime shopping destination. Deals are few and far between. Bratislava is where the Viennese go for discount shopping.
