| drewj12:19 UTC01 Mar 2007 | Hey
I'm an Australian currently in Bangkok and was wondering if it is possible to apply for the UK working holiday visa through the British embassy in Bangkok or by sending the documents to the embassy in Canberra. I know that it is impossible to get the visa once in the UK but has anyone successfully applied for the visa from outside Australia and if so how? One website said that anyone is welcome to apply to any embassy in any country but the embassy has no obligation to process it. Another website indicated that you can apply online in certain countries such as Ireland but I was unsure whether this meant that the application would be through the British embassy in Ireland or the High commision in Canberra.
Thanks a lot for any help and sorry if this is a confusing post

See UKVisas for the options
