Uganda in October -> Will you be there?

Hi there! Im travelling to Uganda in the later part of October...this will be my first major trip. I will only be there for about 2 weeks and i am going with a group. However, most of the group are younger than i am and will have to stay with the 'adults' lol. I want to go off and explore Kampala but it would be great to meet anyone who is there and possibly share that with someone. So if you could be that person let me know! Or if youhave any advise feel free to give it...I will be in Kampala for the trip except for what looks like 1 day trip up to Jinja. They dont plane to do any rafting, however, i want to. If you have any other ideas of places i could easily slip off to for a day let me know!
