Turrialba

Has anyone stayed in the Hotel Geliwa in Turrialba. If so please share your views and opinions regarding rooms and food in the area and at the hotel.

It looks like a pretty tyroical Tico style lodge.

This area is very lovely mountains...surreal at sunrise and sunset....the original capitol Cartago was just down the road...

We'll give it a whirl and let you know how it is. I believe the kayakers from the US and Canada train there. The mountains will be just like home, albiet, no snow on them. Most of Canada's kayakers come from out here in BC so the training rivers must be quite similar.
