Turkey Stop Over

hello guys :-) I do really hope someone will be able to help, we are stopping in Izmir turkey for one day on September ( we are on the mediterenean cruise and we book the tour to Ephesus is that worth it? and then next day we will be in Istanbul we will end our cruise there. is any of you guys would know how long it take from Istanbul port ferry to Istanbul Airport? I appreciate your help..

Its 30-45 mins by taxi from the ferry port to Ataturk airport.

Don't know about Ephesus, sorry.

Is Ephesus worth it? Well, it's the main ancient site in Turkey. So I guess you could say it's worth it.

You can also get to the airport from the international ferry port by public transit. It would take an hour or so and involve switching from the tram to the metro.

Ephesus - yes its worth it. Allow yourself time to get through security entering Ataturk Airport as the queues can be long sometimes. Last trip it took me half an hour to actually get through the doors from the taxi stop off point and into the check in area.
