Trinidad - Sucre by planeCountry forums / South America / Bolivia
Hi guys, i m looking for flights from Trinidad to Sucre. So far i havent had much luck with my search. The only airline i found serving Trinidad - Santa Cruz is http://www.amaszonas.com/ . I wasnt able to look at TAM´s website, since its down. (any idea why there website is down?) Any ideas? Thanks!
Most likely there are flights to Trinidad only from la Paz and Santa Cruz. If you want to fly there from Sucre you have to go to one of these places to make the connection | 1
the above is correct - the most sensible way would be to fly to santacruz and then get a connecting flight from there. The tam web site doesnt really work too well and even if you can get onto it it is unlikely you can book online unless you have bolivian id / credit cards. If you want to fly TAM you will need to go through an travel agent most likely. Be aware if you do get into sucre then the onoy way out at present is to fly as there have been roadblocks stopping transport for around 14 days now and it doesnt look like it will be fixed in the coming days. | 2
Aerocon are another option (they're based in Trinidad - http://www.aerocon.bo/) although again you'll need to connect in one of the major cities onto either AeroSur, BoA or TAM. | 3
Yes, the web site www.tam.bo</a> of TAM - Transporte Aéreo Militar (The Bolivian Military Airline) - seldom works. But today - right now - the page is on / up. The 3 airlines Amaszonas ("A más zonas" = "to more zones"), Aerocon (Línea Aérea Aerocon) and AeroSur ("La Aerolínea de los Bolivianos") co-operate. In general to find information about flying: Use the encyclopedia Wikipedia at en.wikipedia.org.
