| seagullsarah18:47 UTC30 Nov 2004 | Hi,
I'm thinking of travelling with a 19 month old toddler to Sri Lanka for 3 weeks. Has anyone travelled with toddlers in Sri Lanka and how did they find it? Just wondering about accom., travelling with kids, health etc.. also long distance flights with toddlers and how did they find it?
Thanks,

I have a friend who took his child to Bentota in Sri Lanka and every time his back was turned, some Sri Lankan was touching his child on the bum. One old man even bent down to offer the kiddie a sweet but starting talking dirty in the nippers ear. Albeit in Sri Lankan but thats not the point.
Anyway, he went to the police station to complain and the Police Chief said he wanted to ask the child what had happened. He took my friends toddler into his office and was gone ages. When my friend opened the door and popped his head round to see what was going on - the Police Chief had stripped to his underwear and was KISSING THE CHILD.
Unbelieveable - go elsewhere is my advice.

cheers from Ruth
