Travel Buddy

Hi everybody,
Just started doing residency in Albany, New York. Weekends are the only time have but also have vacation coming in June.
If anyone is interested in joining me for weekend/day trips do email me. Can get pretty claustrophobic in the hospital so wanting to go out. Am a non smoker, easy going, love nature , museums, concerts , sun sets/rises.

You should try and check out Ithica NY. Its a really nice town... lots of gorges... They say "Ithaca is Gorges"
If you can borrow or hire a car ad drive there that would be best, so you can go see the gorges. Or find a friend to take you.

amarinder, I live a bit too far away but am in the area several times a year. Next time I'm up that way I'll try to contact you. But take a look for the local Appalachian Trail club, local ski clubs etc. Most meetings will be in the evenings-when rounds are usually done-and the activities will be on weekends. Of course you can also take the train into the city easily and there is actually quite a bit of natural beauty near there.

And don't forget to visit Williamstown MA, especially in the summer for the theater festival; museums; fall hikes; crashing the pre-med society; etc.
