Hi, I will be going to australia in april. Im just wondering what the story is with tractor driving or farm work there. I know from being there in 2002 that there was a shortage of labour for farm and tractor work. Im just wondering is this still the case. I know farming in australia has been hit badly with drought and maybe there is not the demand for this now. Where is the best places to go for this work.

There's such a shortage of seasonal agricultural workers that the Department of Immigration will extend working holiday visa by 12 months for anyone undertaking 3 months work fruit picking.
