Tobacco Caye

Can anyone recommend a place to stay on Tobacco Caye and Placencia?

Re: Placencia we'd need more information to recommend - budget, in town or to the north, etc.

The only place I know about is the Seaspray Hotel. The rates range from $40-$60 which is within our budget. It looks fairly close to town but not it it, right? At this point I'd welcome suggestions for any location on the island though we'd like to be right on the beach. Thanks

Are there other nice places in this budget range that anyone would like to recommend?

I've stayed at the Seaspray. It was OK, but the walls are thin. Great beach access out the back, and the Sidewalk out the front door. Easy walking to many restaurants, shops, bars, bank, etc.

The other place I considered (but didn't stay) was Lydia's.
