i dont wanna be wordy. the following is my travel plan:
the tour is supposed to begin in 5th , february, or so.(not fixed yet,cuz we are flexible around that after new year)
this trip is supposed to start from chengdu in sichuan province, china( or we may meet somewhere along the route)
it is supposed to be a overland travel.
convening another 1or 2 fellowers together!!!
im a singapore and my pprospective partner also from singapore.
this the rough plan:
d 1：reception,: pick you up from the airport.
we will walk around Chengdu to enjoy the local culture.
d 2：Chengdu-Yaan-Kangding (360km in total) elevation：2600m board：Kangding
drive for 6 hours to Kangding. On our way there, we will visit the Panda Reserve base in Yaan and pass Two-Lads Mountain Tunnel.
d3：Kangding－Xingduqiao－Tagong－Danba 210km in total elevation ：1900m board：Danba
drive about 6 hours to arrive our destination, Danba. On our way there we will pass Zheduo Snow Mountain pass with the elevation of 4200m, and Xingduqiao(paradise for photographers) , Tagong grassland as well as Baimei town(eight-beauties town). We will visit some monasteries also on our way and the local families in Kham Tibetan region. We will spend night in the local families so as to closely contact the Tibetan life style.
d 4：Danba—Four-Maiden Mountain Ranges—Chengdu 320km in total elevation： 500m米 board：hotel in Chengdu
On our way back , we will visit the Tibetan Tower Groups and pass the Four-Maiden Mountains(the second highest mountain in Sichuan Tibetan Region with its main peak 6250 above the sea level) as well as the Balangshan Pass(4500m). Later we are back to Chengdu.
d 5：Chengdu-（by flight）-Lhasa
first acclimate yourself to the highland climate and walk round or ride freely.
d6：Lhasa elevation：3650m board：Lhasa
We will visit Drepung Monastery in the morning and visit Jokhang Monastery as well as Barkhor Street in the afternoon.
d7：Lhasa elevation：3650m board：Lhasa
we will visit Potala Palace, Norbulingka and Sera Monastery.
d 8：Lhasa—Shigatse (360km in total ) elevation：4000m board: Shigatse
Drive for 5-6 hour to Shigatse. On our way there we will visit the Tibetan local families and Tashilumpo Monastery.
d9：Shigatse—Gyantse—Tsedang 400km in total elevation：3000m board：Tsedang
drive for 6-7 hours to Tsedang. On our way there, we will visit Kunbum Monastery and Palkor Chode.
d 10：Tsedang elevation：3000m board：Tsedang
we will visit Samye Monastery and Yumbu Lakang Palace.
d11：Tsedabg—Konka-（by flight）-Chengdu
drive for 2 hours to Kongka Airport to take flight to Chengdu. In the afternoon, we will tour around Chengdu and Jingli Ancient town in Chengdu.
d12：take you to the airport and see you off.
open to any suggestions! and if ur plan is coincided with us, i think we can hire one suv car so as to split the cost,, or if ur plan is partly coincided with us, like tibetan region travel, we can share part of our trip.
