Things that go bump in the nightInterest forums / Travel Bloggers and Pathfinders
Recently the weather in Beijing has been amazing, not only has it been getting warmer again but the skies have been clear and blue and the wind has been blowing in cool fresh air. Spring has defiantly arrived and as the trees fill up with leaves cycling around the city at night makes the cold winter nights seem all that further away. Plus it provided a nice change to play around with some of the settings I haven't used much from Magic Lantern (mainly the "bracketing up to 9 frames with spacing from 0.5 to 5 EV" which is very handy for taking multiple shots) and then instead of creating an HDR image blend them together as an Enfused image, using EnfuseGUI which in their own words "is an Open Source command-line application for creating images with a better dynamic range by blending images with different exposures." It was a particular long ride but it was a nice circuit round the Forbidden City from the north gate down to the bottom of Tian'anmen Square and you can see the pictures here.
