As told to me by a Spanish chef - "the wine, it must be sheet!"

I have finally found a use for Carlo Rossi Smooth Red Wine.

What are your sangria secrets?

Sangria is another one of those things that I like (love if it's good) but my husband doesn't. So, it's another thing I don't make.

A few weeks ago we did a picnic in the park with some friends. One of them made the absolute best Sangria I've ever had! I'll see if I can get her recipe for you.

Use cheap wine.
-Is that what the chef meant saying "sheet". Did he pronounce it as "a typo"?

4 Sticks to what? Or how many for how much liquid and do you just bung them in the jug or do anything to them first?

A bottle of cheep red wine,a slosh of pomagranade juice(geraldine),a slice or two of fresh orange/lemon,a splash of brandy/rum and a can of fizzy soda/tonic water,a few drips of bitters and lots of shattered ice cubes.Stir,using a cinnamon stick.

Myanmar - I just wanted to let you know that I haven't forgotten about your Sangria request. The friend of mine who makes it is currently out of town, but I will continue to attempt to get the recipe. Althoug tribolite's does sound good.

"Good Sangria" is an oxymoron. At least, I've never had sangria that was any more than a way to ruin both wine and fresh fruit juices at the same time.

I have an old bottle of Pimm's, and I'm not much fond of the drink.
I wondered, if it would make a good ingredient for a sangria-like drink.
Anyone tried to use Pimm's in similar way?

9 - that's exactly how you are supposed to use Pimms, with fruit or cucumber and mixed with lemonade. Pimms no 1 cup

I just add the whole cinnamon sticks to the jug. They will render out their flavor if you're patient enough.
Red wine, sliced fruits (oranges, peaches, strawberries...), sugar. You have to wait for a few hours before you drink it (overnight is even better).
