The first LPTTGS Award 2011Interest forums / Get Stuffed
The Thick as a Tea Party Member Award Silvio Berlusconi for: arrogance, stupidity and decidedly dodgy-dealing in public office. (The U.S. Republican Party’s candidates very nearly won for a collective display of ignorance over several categories, not least geography: e.g. Africa is a country, we're told.)
P.S. All the rest are awarded to GS contributors - and all are positive. | 1
I'm sure I never saw more than half a dozen newspaper photos of Berlusconi over the years, and didn't pay much attention to them when I did. He was all over the TV news recently, though, and there were plenty of clips that made me wonder if he had had a hair transplant. His hair looked so odd I wondered if it was really hair or if he had applied dye to his scalp. I just checked, and it looks as if he indeed has had a transplant. Here he is in a recent photo. That hairline doesn't appear in this older photo. Vanity, thy name is Berlusconi. | 2
The Italians I know say that he has had plenty of plastic surgery in addition to the hair transplants. Side note: never innocently ask "What's a Nutella party?" when in the company of drunk Italians. Bunga bunga! | 3
A friend of mine in Poland swore that Silvio had hair transplant done by a fiend of his. | 4

Looking at the pics, I have to agree with NA. where tf have ye been hiding, arbon? If I hadn't almost, but not quite, forgotten about ye, ye might have been in the offing for a prestigious 'official' award. Still, since it's ye, I'll make an unofficial award here and now: LPTTGS Award 2011 for Looking Like a Subversive goes to: arbon for: looking like a subversive P.S. I rather like subversives - and I trust ye feel honoured. | 9
