Tajikistan: Khojand this weekend?

I am trying to put together a group to go from Khojand to Dushanbe this weekend. I have to work all week, but the plan is to fly from Dushanbe to Khojand on Saturday morning, have already arranged a car to pick me up at the airport, take a quick look around town, then drive to Iskander-Kul on Saturday, stopping in Istaravshan on the way to see the bazaar. Spend the night in Iskander-Kul, then take public transportation back down to Dushanbe on Sunday.

So I am looking for two things. First, recommendations on a reliable driver to do the Khojand - Iskander-Kul drive, plus any foreseen logistical problems I might have. Second, anyone interested in going with? PM me.

I might be interested. I have a ticket to go to Khojand on Friday morning. I have a return ticket for Sunday, but since I didnt pay for it, I wouldnt mind dropping that and taking a car downt to Ishtaravshan and Iskanderkul if you are able to get a group together.
