Swiss Flexi Save Pass vs Half Fare Card

Hello...

I'm actually heading to Switzerland next Friday and was hoping someone might be able to help me out w/ which pass to get. I'll be traveling w/ my mother.. so I was deciding between the Swiss Saver Flexi Pass and the Half Fare Card. My itinerary is as follows:

Day 1 - Zurich Airport to Lucerne
Day 2 - Lucerne + Mt. Pilatus excursion
Day 3 - Lucerne to Wengen (one way)
Day 4 - Wengen to Jungrau (round trip)
Day 5 - Wengen to Bern (one way) + Bern to Zurich (one way)
Day 6 - Evening train to Munich

The only way to work out which is the best value for you is to use a site such as www.sbb.ch/en to find the normal fares and then calculate from there.

Day 1 - Zurich Airport to Lucerne
Swiss Pass: free
Half Fare Card: 14 CHF

Day 2 - Lucerne + Mt. Pilatus excursion
Swiss Pass: 33 CHF
Half Fare Card: 38 CHF (with boat up to Alpnachstad: 48 CHF)

Day 3 - Lucerne to Wengen (one way)
Swiss Pass: free
Half Fare Card: 22 CHF

Day 4 - Wengen to Jungfrau (round trip)
Swiss Pass and Swiss Flexi Pass: 116 CHF
Half fare card: 77 CHF

Day 5 - Wengen to Bern (one way) + Bern to Zurich (one way)
Swiss Pass: free
Half Fare Card: 39 CHF

Day 6 - Evening train to Munich, fare up to the Swiss border station of St. Margrethen:
Swiss Pass: free
Half fare card: 18 CHF

Conclusion: the Half Fare Card seems to be the best solution IF YOU TRAVEL ONLY ALONG THE ABOVE MENTIONED ITINERARY (AND NOTHING MORE).
