Step-by-Step Driections: CDG Terminal 1 to RER StationCountry forums / Western Europe / France
Hello... | ||
Yes, according to what I've read elsewhere, the free navette (shuttle bus) has been replaced by the free CDGVAL (a driverless train). Take it to the CDG 1 RER station. Sorry, I can't give you directions on where to catch it at Terminal 1. I checked the Aeroports de Paris Web site, but it still lists the navette. | 1
Ok, I just went there to pick up a friend early this month. The RER B is connected to Terminal 3 and 2 only so you have to take the CDGVAL (the driverless train). Once you gather your luggage and come out of the custom area at terminal 1, try to find the "Meeting Point" near exit 34 if my memory still serves me. There is a big information counter there. Behind the information counter there is a lift (elevator if you are American). Take that lift down to the boutique level. Now you must look for the Airport shuttle signs. I think it's just going straight out and then take that driverless train until you arrive at terminal 3 which is connected to RER B. | 2
Don't forget that the 8th May is a holiday in France ... | 3
Ooops -- my mistake - we're arriving May 9 (departing Philadelphia May 8) - so the holiday won't be a problem. | 4
