Spondylus Route ecuador coast

hello friends, i am interested to hear other travelers experience along the coast of Ecuador? i have a thought to bicycle there, during dec jan, and wonder how the rain levels will prohibit me?

While it will be the start of rainy season, it's actually the best time for the coast as it's warm-hot and much better beach weather. Normal weather pattern is sunny in the morning, followed by cloud build-up, then a shower of rather short duration.
