| peterscot18:22 UTC10 Nov 2007 | Just emerged from the wilds of Botswana. Hearing rumours that the glue didn't work with an engine.... Flying Nationwide from OR Tambo tonight.
IS IT SAFE?

| ctlocal20:47 UTC10 Nov 2007 | Hey Peter,
You don't need an actuary to figure that the chances of it happening twice in 3 days are small :o)
Besides, isn't living dangerously part of the African experience?? (tongue in cheek, here)

| bosch08:50 UTC11 Nov 2007 | Good job by the pilot though, the passengers said it was a perfectly soft landing.
Peter, I take it you weren't the guy at the victory parade waving the English flag? ;)

| peterscot02:21 UTC12 Nov 2007 | "windkoek"?? How embarrassing! I just couldn't get used to those southern hemisphere keyboards.
Agree with Bosch - the pilot was amazing. We got back to Gatwick this morning where the temperature was 0 (zero) degrees. Brrrrr. Off to catch up with my sleep. As for the English flag - I doubt it somehow.....
