some up-to-date advice UK to China

Just thought I'd put some stuff in my blog which may prove usefull to anyone planning a trip across Europe/Turkey/Central Asia.

My blog is complete crap because I can't think straight in internet cafe's with stinky kids playing shoot it games. Anyway the advice is at the start of the page. I'm currently in Azerbaijan waiting to go to Kazakhstan.

Hope some of it might be usefull as if nothing else it is up to date

It could just be temporary, but I can't get at that blog here in China, possibly the censors at work. It might be worth setting up an alternative before you get here. Tumblr is a pretty painless way to quickly get pics and info online.

The "tourist hotel" in Baku (Azerbaijan) on the sea front is only USD10 a night if you go to the tenth floor and ask the receptionost nicely.
