Singapore Railway Station

What's the best way to get from the Singapore Railway Station at Woodlands to Orchard Road etc? Also how close is the Singapore Railway Station to the Woodlands MRT Station

Saw a sign that says "Transfer to MRT" Usually that just means a short walk.

It's a 2.8km bus ride on bus #913 fare 73 cents.
Or 1.5Km bus ride on #912 to Marsiling MRT, same fare.

taxi around $5

would reccomend taxi , doubt bus frequencies are as frequent.

There's a bus every 5-7 mins till 1900 and after that every 7-11 mins.
