Should I travel by plane, train, bus or.....?

What are your considerations when it comes to choosing the mode of transport for your travels? Is it cost? Comfort? Convenience? Join me as I walk you through some of the considerations that I have for this (usually) second most expensive aspect for a trip :)

What are your considerations when it comes to choosing the mode of transport for your travels?

First consideration no, or otherwise as little as possible, advance booking needed. Flexibility rules. (though admittedly, sometimes cost considerations and certainty to meet deadlines (flight out, appointments, etc) take prevalence)

I usually base it on price. Although, sometimes speed is a factor if it's a short trip!

For me the slowest possible, land or sea are preferable

Thanks @ninjabambi, @couragemydearheart and @gwaijai for sharing your thoughts on this topic. Indeed, even within just the few of us, there are already different preferences when it comes to the mode of transport for our trips. :)
I guess despite there being pros and cons for each type of transport, there will definitely be one that can fit our individual traveling needs :)
