Share a rental car

Hi all,

My girlfriend and I are planning to go to Iceland this summer. We would like to rent a car from July 31 - August 11 and make a tour around the entire island. A lot of driving, but it also means you see a lot of the country. However, a car rental is very expensive in Iceland, so we were wondering if there are perhaps 2 other travelers who would like to share a car with us. We are planning to drive around the island clockwise from Reykjavik to Reykjavik again. If you are interested in driving with us, or maybe only a part of the trip, let me know!

Off course you will have your say in the price/ exact route/ planning etc.

I and one of my other friend from Germany are coming to Iceland on 30.07 until 04.08. We would like to share the possibility of car pooling with you. Since we'll be travelling less days than you in Iceland, I think we would join you till Akureyri (if possible).

If you want to safe some money on a rental car in Iceland you should try to see if you could get a car from car4rent.is , I save much money by booking a car with them, hope this helps :)

Hey Thomas and Laurie,
a friend and I are going to be in iceland Aug 4-12. I don't think that car sharing will work out as our dates are a bit different, but we'd love to meet up if we're in the same place at the same time. We're planning on being driving about half-way around the ring road Aug 4-10, and then spending the last two nights in Reykjavik. let me know if you're interested!
