Self-guided trekking in Iran

Country forums / Middle East / Iran

Hi there,
Anyone has ideas for long self-guided trekking (2 weeks or more) in Iran, avoiding hotels etc.. Just livilng in the wild or with the nomads ? Are there any maps available or gps trackstracks ? The south and west is appeling to me more than the north.
Thanks,
Philippe

Hi
It could be difficult. Now , I am in south of Iran; we met nomads and it was great, but we are with a guide. Keep in touch I will tell you more

Hi
If you were looking for two or three days I could plan you a tracking tour around North west of Iran.
