Seaside guest house (Belize city) contact info?Country forums / Central America / Belize
Does anyone know the contact info for seaside guest house in belize city? i tried googling "seaside guest house belize" and tried the website seasidebelize.com, but no luck as to how to contact them through email. Any other suggestions for inexpensive/ "backpacker" accommodations in belize city that i can contact via internet ? i'm flying into Belize city around 9 PM and I don't particularly enjoy scrambling around trying to find places in the dark when I have just arrived in a country. I don't need anything too nice, but I do like cheap (the cheaper the better!) and friendly. I also heard about the Belcove Hotel and Isabel guesthouse, how are those? Thanks again!
By the time you pay for a taxi into town (US$25) and the room, at that time of evening I'd rather pay the US$50 or so and stay at a place near the airport such as the Global Village Hotel (actually a motel), which is near the entrance road to the airport and has a free shuttle. It's a nice, fairly new place that's safe and clean. Keep in mind that you do NOT want to be walking around at night in Belize City. --Lan Sluder | 1
The last contact details I had for Seaside Guest House are 3 Prince Street, Belize City, Phone: 227-8339. Email: (not sure if this still works): seasidebelize@btl.net Isabel is a good choice as is Three Sisters on Queen Street. Both of them did have an email address but I haven`t got it anymore. | 2
Seaside Guest House has never been quite the same since it was sold by the Friends (Quakers) a few years ago. --Lan Sluder | 3
I found the email address for Isabels guesthouse: pmelhado@hotmail.com Maria runs Isabels Guesthouse. Another option in Belize City is the Bayview Guesthouse on the north side though it might not be the cheapest place around. Prices are on the website. | 4
