Hi. There is indeed a lot of diving centers in Dahab. Check out

http://www.dive-centers.net/diving_search.html?query=dahab

I cannot give you prices as I am just getting ready for my trip. But many of the centers give their price lists and so you can get an idea.

Have a good trip.

if you dont have your certification that is a different story. some places might take you for an 'intro dive' where they teach you some basics then take you out for a dive, expect 30-50$. Sometimes they will want you to take a full course though, 300$ plus.
One dive is like a taste, 2 or 3 is ideal, after that it depends how much money and time you want to spend. For me three dives in two days is enough.

Yes it is worth it. It's about as cheap as it gets while still having good standards and practises. One of the advantages of Dahab is that most of the diving is shore based, theres no travel by boat to get to some of the best sites. This makes it nice and easy going - dive centre will pick you up around 10am, you'll have two dives and lunch done by 3pm latest.
