SBB timetable -- Interlaken to Genova, Italy

Hi all,

I'm a little confused about how the sbb.ch timetable works. I'm leaving Interlaken on a Wednesday afternoon/evening and trying to figure out if I have enough time to go to Genova, Italy (Cinque Terre) before I have to be in Rome Friday night. If I look up Wednesday of this week, it gives me this option:

Interlaken Ost We, 08.06.11 dep 18:30
(through Spiez, Milano Centrale)
Genova P. Principe Th, 09.06.11 arr 00:30
Duration: 6:00; runs 5. until 11. Jun 2011 daily

HOWEVER, if I search the same route at the beginning of July (when I'll actually be there), it says "Sorry! No connections have been found that correspond to your request. It is possible that the requested service does not operate from or to the places you stated on the requested date of travel (e.g. because some services do not stop at certain places on weekends). You can check this by viewing the the arrivals/departures tables for Interlaken Ost and Genova P. Principe"

Am I just searching too far in advance or do you think it's really true what it said about this route running "5. until 11. Jun 2011 daily"??

Looks like a timetable change. And the new timetable is not yet in the SBB system.
It is however already in the www.trenitalia.it</a> timetable. A timetable change must not mean that the connection itself will change. It just marks the time horizon how far the schedule is fix. The connection you have will also work early July with the same times.
