safe ride safaris, Kenya

Has anyone used Safe Ride Safaris in Kenya? Their 4 day camping safari to Masai/Nakuru seems really good value, but I'm wondering if there's a catch. There is one negative posting on here already...does anyone else have any experiences - good or bad - with this company? Otherwise, can anyone reccommend any other good-value companies for a short safari out of Nairobi? We are travelling there this July.

Dats every tourist dilemma...you get so many recomendations u become confused...i was like that some time back between diwaka safaris and sky view one..so i went to google n did my thing there...lookin if any positive or negative info abt them...at last was decided on the latter-diwaka that is....its upto you if you want to use them..joseph@diwaksafaris.com...from many forums like trip advisor..Jamal/Mike and Joseph are the most refered tour driver guides...look at my previous posts have already refered to them.

I'm doing a trip to Amboseli and Tsavo West with them in July. I booked with them based on the recommendation of a friend who is a tour operator in Tanzania

I used them in January & had a fine time. I even left a positive post on here about them. Since then, however, I heard back from one of my safari mates, who continued on with them for what was to be 6 more days after our group's 6-day adventure finished.
He was then alone for 3 days (as no other tourists signed onto the trip during a very low tourist season for Kenya, with the political situation) & due to cost ineffectiveness to drive one person up to the Samburu portion of the tour, they chose not to take him there, which he understood & was fine with. However, when he got back to Nairobi, they refused to refund him for the 3 days he missed (around $300!), saying that he had the previous 3 days as a private safari, something he wasn't too interested in anyway. He'd been hesitant about continuing after the rest our the group returned to Nairobi, but Saferide encouraged him to continue!

My advice is if you feel that you have doubts with the operators recommended you can check out for other operators suggested in this forum and other forums like my trip advisor. There are quite a number of reputable operators but this will also depend with your budget. You can check out voyage afrique tours;www.voyageafriquetours.com, Gametrackers;www.gametrackersafaris.com and get to know their credibility and also get to compare their prices and can make your choice.

Anyone used safe ride safari and tour recently?

i am now choosing between safe ride safari and Sana Highlands Trekking Expeditions?

Anyone used them before? How was your experience with them?
