RTW 08-09 suggestions

hey guys

planning to head away for about 6-8month round the world trip begining in mid/late july, would like to head to china and travel a bit, and see the olympic games, and want to see sth east asia and central america before coming back to nz. any suggestions on places to see/things to do/? still havent really organised the flights yet, but will need to look into it soon.

Any ideas on how much I will need in sth east asia and central america? Still not sure whether I have saved up enough. I have previusly spent 4 month in sth america, so I have some very basic spanish, I am hoping I will get by in central america.

any feedback or recommendations will be greatly appreciated.
