Roasters Inn Hotel Nairobi

I can recommend the Roasters Inn Hotel Nairobi. Rooms are big, clean and self contained with TV, there is a swimming pool and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Room rates are 1300 KSH for single with breakfast and 2200 for the double. It is a well known Nyama Choma place as well with live music Friday to Sunday. It is located outside the city centre on Thika Road. If you are taking matatu (#43 I believe) tell the conductor to drop you off at Nakumatt Thika Road. From there it is 200 mts to the Hotel. Taxi fare from downtown approx. 500 KSH.
