Reykjavik in late October?

Heh there,
I've always wanted to see Iceland and have the opportunity to spend a long weekend in Reykjavik in late October. I know I won't get to see a lot in the few days im there but im wondering would there be much in terms of tours etc. I've noted a number stop in September. I've also been told Reykjavik itself csn be kindof boring! So wondering would it be a worthwhile few days in late October? ?

I think it's up to you and what kind of things you like to do.
I think the only annoying thing in October is that the days are short. On the other hand, it can be possible to see northern lights (don't count on that).

I was there 2 years ago in October. This year I'm travelling in early December.

If you have only few days, you don't have much time to do things anyway. You can take a tour to Golden Circle, visit a local swimming pool, ride a horse, do whale watching and eat well. (If those are the things you like).

I would check what are the available winter tours in Reykjavik. If you think they sound interesting, then go ahead and book. If you like more high season travellng and road tripping, then wait for the summer.
