Reserve in Advance Necessary.

Is it necessary to make hotel reservations in Namibia. I was in Uganda and Rwanda in February and never booked a hotel in advance, there were plenty of rooms available .I am going to Namibia for 2 weeks in May

not from our experience. but we always almost always camped. But I would say no.

i'll be quite interested to hear about your experience not having booked. we are going in september, and booked our campsites in march and even then all the places we wanted weren't available...at least they told us they weren't available! hope you're having a great trip.
