Rent a jeep in Morocco

Hello, I've got some questions. Is it possible to rent a jeep (4x4 car) in some kind of a local rental in Morrocco (Marrakech) in a reasonable price (what's the average price?)? The prices found on the internet seem quite high.

Yes it is possible, but no not at what I consider a reasonable price. Even compact cars are expensive...but renting a car is a wonderful way to tour Morocco. And very rarely will you need a 4x4 and when needed it probably will be on a road you should not be driving on anyway (it is easy to get lost on the unsigned rocky desert roads).

The import price od automobiles in Morocco is very high, therefore the price for buying and renting is high also. I can give you 2 websites of local agencies, so you can compare the price:

Edith, isn't that going to change soon, with the changes in VAT for cars, and the new Dacia plant and the upcoming Renault-Nissan plant?

(Not that I like running these vehicles over the fragile landscape....)
