Reliable website for bus connections in Guizhou

Country forums / North-East Asia / China

Right now I try to find out, how I can reach Zhenfeng, coming from Kunming. The G-train from Kunming stops at different stations on its way to Guiyang and beyond. For me the following stations could be of interest: Pan, Guanling, Anshun or Guiyang. According to the map Guanling is the closest station, but Pan and Anshun are close too and offer different and maybe better roads, which connet to Zhenfeng. Guiyang only could be an option, because from there there is the higway S50, which is probably a very good road.
I thought, that my first option would be Guanling, but the higspeed-station is quite far from town (can be found on the traffic-layer of www.openstreetmap.org, Google only shows the construction site, the pictures are probably several years old. And the vector-data still don't contain the new highspeed-lines). But I can't find any website with information for buses between Guanling and Zhenfeng. I only remember a few characters from my chinese lessons, so when searching with Baidu I use Google- and Bing-translate and PeraPera-Chinese for direct translation of words on a website. Does anybody know a good website for looking for busses in Guizhou? Thanks.

According to the Chinese language site: qichezhan.net. There are buses from Anshun to Zhenfeng(I assume you mean 贞丰?)from 0720 to 1600. But no indication of which bus station or duration.
Anshun high speed rail station is as you would expect a long way out of town 45 minute taxi ride.

Even using Chinese language sites finding bus info can be difficult it's the exception to come across a detailed timetable especially for smaller towns

Thanks and yes, I mean 贞丰. If there are really buses until 4p.m., it should be possible, to reach Zhenfang the same day. I probably could arrive in Anshun at 2p.m.
I will try this website, to continue my search. But I'm still interested to find out about Guanling. It is the closest highspeed-train station to Zhenfeng.

Even the timetables posted on the walls at Chinese bus stations are often unreliable: you just have to ask at the window. If you speak Chinese, then call the station.

Just found, that I also can search at ctrip for bus connections. It's comfortable, they allow to input pinyin which is then transformed into hanzi.
They don't show a bus from Guanling to Zhenfeng but one from Zhenfeng to Guanling (which I don't need). But they also show buses from Anshun from 8 a.m. till 16:30p.m. So I guess, for my purpose Anshun will be the best place to go.

I believe ctrip only shows routes they can book, certainly not every bus route in China.

Just checked a few more websites and it seems buses for Zhenfeng leave from the long distance bus station 长途汽车站。
This site: http://asqcz.tcsw.cn/intro_82613.html. Shows buses all day up to 1600.

You can find bus info on line but generally only in Chinese often searching is a time consuming and frustrating business. The other key piece of information you need is which bus station your service leaves from. Even medium sized towns often have more than one. To makes matters more complex often services to destinations less than say an hour away don't leave from a bus station but often a roadside location.
Generally I have found taxi drivers quite helpful and if you tell them where you are going they will get you to the right departure point.
Finally I find bus travel far more comfortable than hard seat on the train although per km bus are more expense by up to 60%
