Very well, no doubt. You won't find it at your local Barnes & Noble, but I'd wager that every single university library in the US has copies of the earlier volumes of DARE. (Certainly, I had occasion to reference the first volume way back in the day when I was in grad school.) It makes fascinating skimming for anyone who loves words.
