| shortyp00:39 UTC19 May 2007 | Hi,
I was just wondering does anybody know with what airline i could get a refundable flight out of Peru.
The reason i want it refundable is that i just want it as evidence of leaving Peru for my airline and then plan to cancel it once i'm there as i want to travel overland from Peru.
Is it easy to get your money back on these flights?
Thanks for your help

Just make sure that when you buy this ticket to tell the agent or if its bought Online that you want A FULLY REFUNDABLE/NON RESTRITIVE fare.... I would buy a ticket to a Neighborhing country like to Buenos aires or Quito/Guayaquil or Santiago
the prices are usually as follow to Quito/Guayaquil/Buenos aires on www.Taca.com Nonstop for $650usd
and Lacsa,Lan Chile offer service to Santiago nonstop for 850 usd
Hope this helps!and happy travels!

(1) Only buy a FULLY REFUNDABLE from an airline that has US/Canada customer support standards and protections. You do not want to mess around going round and round with some second or third rate Ibero-American airline to get your refund.
(2) If the airline in question has a 24 hour cool down period where you can cancel with no hassle in that 24 hour period (like Lan Chile) that would be a plus.
(3) Cancel as soon as you clear Immigrations as you may not yet have been charged for the ticket in those hours of traveling and will avoid any hassle of getting and expediting a refund. From that statement, I recommend purchasing the longest dated return/onward possible as this would put the purchase at the bottom of the queue to be charged/ticketed (on American Airlines anyways).
Suerte.
