Red rock beach accessible by bus/train from Faro

Country forums / Western Europe / Portugal

Hello, Just have 1 day left to visit a beach around Faro, depending on public transport, although it doesn't matter if I have to walk for 30-45 minutes from a public transport stop.. It's just I want to feel/see a beach surrounded by red rocks.......hope that someone has a suggestion.

may be this is too late.
but if I'm correct most of the red rock beached are to be found near Lagos. So more west of Faro.
We've been to Praia de Ana (if I'm correct). It's supposed to be the beach where all those pictures are taken from.
It's close to Lagos and very nice to see.

The tourist agency in Lagos should be able to help you out with the closest red rock beach and how to get there.
