FYI, if you are planning to stay at the Red Lodge in Siem Riep, be advised that the telephone number in the LP guide is no longer in service by them. The former manager has kept the number and when you phone he tells you that he is working for the Red Lodge and The Riverside, that the Red Lodge is full but he would be happy to put you up at the new building and that more guests prefer it...he will also proceed to diss the Red Lodge if you persue any info about it and he will not (at least did not for me) honour the 10% discount quoted in the Siem Riep tourist info book.
The Riverside is decent and i'm frankly too lazy to move but double check if you do laundry there as they will try to charge you double the weight, there is also construction going on at the moment which he will deny... the moto's are overly persistent too.
If you do want to stay at the Red Lodge, after speaking with the current manager, they are only accepting walkins, it still appears to be very quiet and laidback, and yes it was full when I went over to talk with them.

So what is the new number of the Red Lodge?
