Recent trip in Pakistan

Recently I've been travelling in Punjab. I visited Islamabad, Faisalabad, Multan, Lahore and some villages around Lahore. In Pakistan there is always a chance that something can happen but I always felt save and never had any problem. In Faisalabad and Multan I did not see any single traveller and in the last city I had a visit of the police at my hotel just to check if my situation was ok. There, I was given the police tel number for any problem I had. Everywhere people was very curious and kind with me.
In Lahore I stayed 2 nights in Regale Internet Inn but I moved to the Lahore Backpackers later on because I think, Regale was not the same good place I met 2 years ago. The staff of Lahore Backpackers is very good and they can help you to arrange tours in the city, to the sufi and qwali shows and around the city as well.

You re right that Lahore backpackers far better & the staff is very much cooperative then Regal Internet Inn.

Thanks for sharing your trip experience. You are right Lahore Backpackers has got some very nice reviews here on the board by fellow travelers.

I would like to see Pakistan someday.
