| balthasar18:39 UTC24 Mar 2007 | We had a thread some time ago dealing with this subject: lousy hotels in Hanoi, where they kick you out when you refuse to book a trip with them, and give you rooms unfit even for dogs.
There was a certain organisation which seemed to be nothing short from a bunch of crooks. Brothers something?
Can't find the thread anymore. Anyone, from memory?

| sweetrose619:11 UTC24 Mar 2007 | I think you might be refering to TM Brothers. There have been a number of complaints and warnings about them.
If you put 'TM Brothers ' into the search engine there are quite a few threads that come up, I'm sure you'll find the one you are after.

Who reccomended that website for booking hotels? I have never heard of it, and many people here mention many legit websited to book hotels, so not sure why your bitching about a obscure operation and giving little details as well. I saw your earlier post regarding this Website, but again, where did you find it?
In reference to the GH that kicks you out for not booking their tours, and the hotels are run down shitholes, what do you expect for $8 nights...you get what you pay for....

This one was especially lame. He has used this "unfit for dogs" complaint several times.

I challenge you to produce these posts in which I used this "unfit for dogs" complaint several times. I guarantee you won't find any, simply because they do not exist.
Contrary to you, I'm a serious poster, asking relevant questions. Or at least, they are relevant to me. In your view, posts about the American War in Vietnam may be provocative. In my view, they are not. And if above post disturbs you, you could at least try and find out why I put it up in the first place. There's a reason for everything, even if it escapes your observation.
You have the right to disagree, but if you can manage, a certain degree of reticence would be appropriate.

| balthasar23:32 UTC19 Apr 2007 | Yes, thought as much. Two days later, and Mookie has been around (see below) but hasn't produced the requested proof of his allegation. In my book, this guy is an intrigante, nothing more, and certainly nothing less.
Get lost, you worthless piece of crap.

| ae12345601:45 UTC20 Apr 2007 | What's an intrigante?

Intrigante
Intrigante", n. [F.]
A female intriguer!?! (hmmmm..., then again, he did once mention something about a red Ao Dai!!)
msmookie! he!

| ticotim05:53 UTC20 Apr 2007 | He does dress up as a woman I heard....maybe thats what he means...
| 17 |
| balthasar15:07 UTC20 Apr 2007 | My fault entirely. Have to rely on my dictionary from time to time to find the correct translation, but this time I missed the mark, Rose is right.
Intriguer would be the right word, or schemer.

| mrmookie16:56 UTC20 Apr 2007 | I'm glad to see that you are man enough to acknowledge your mistake and to apologize for the confusion and insults that you generated.
| 19 |
| balthasar23:16 UTC20 Apr 2007 | You're missing the point. No confusion at all, nor apologies, let alone insults. Just rephrasing an obvious and justified observation.
