RE: Moz. visa

30 day visa on arrival, US$25 (I think, may have changed), takes 5-10 minutes. I've done it both at Pemba and Maputo airports.

I've been reading different info about Mozambique visas and am interested to sort this out, perhaps from someone who has been there recently. I have a U.S. passport.

Can you get the 30-day tourist visa on arrival at the airport? How much is it? Is it a big hassle (hours?) to get it on arrival, or is it better and/or cheaper to get it beforehand?

When I arrived in Maputo last week (Nov 29, 2011) the visa was 66 USD for US passport holders. The process was very efficient and quick. You don't even need exact change, but it helps if you have it.

Yes and a health stamp that takes another half page.
