Ramparts walk in Jerusalem

Does anyone know of any tours that specifically go on the Jerusalem old city Ramparts?? I have heard it's not really a good idea to go alone.

I have no idea why anyone would have told you that. I had a nice day walking on the Ramparts. Just bought my ticket and set off.

It's generally safe to walk the ramparts. There are generally no thugs in the Old City who commit violent street robbery.

Watch out for pickpockets though, especially some of the postcard sellers who get in your face while their cohort slits your backpack or picks your pocket from the rear. However this usually happens in relatively crowded places, not on the ramparts.

Appreciate the help. Actually I've read a couple of times you have to be careful of some unruly kids and teenagers who like to hassle tourists on the ramparts.
