Pusan boiled pork?Country forums / North-East Asia / South Korea
I was in Pusan exactly 40 years ago tomorrow December 6.. While there I ate at an outdoor eatery in a market area near the port that was a table next to a 45 gallon drum in which they boiled a whole pig carcass over an open fire. They cooked rice on a fire too. You got a big bowl of rice filled with pork broth served with huge chunks of meat cut off the pig which they hoisted it out with a come-along chain lift mechanism. Everything was served with tons of fresh garlic and kimchi. I guess you can't find anything like that there now.
You won't find that today, 40 years later. | 1
