Private mini bus from Dien Bien Phu to Muang Khua

There are several of us traveling together. Does anyone know if it's possible to hire someone to drive us in a mini van from DBP to Muang Khua? If so, any idea what the charge would be? We're looking at the mid part of March.

There is at least one daily regular bus that makes the route. It leaves in the early morning and get into MK about 3 PM. It's as cheap as all the other regular local buses (maybe $8? Bus costs are usually about $1/hr.). And they'll wait at the border until all are processed (a 1-3 hour stop).

I'm cedtain a travel agency will be happy to have you pay for a private van, but you will have to also pay for the driver to get back (and his costs for crossing an int'l border). I'll guess a private van will be about $150.
