Primetime Safaris

Hello Friends
Does anyone have any experience with this company ?
There is no info on them when i did a search.
I'm travelling solo so not too sure how easy it would be to join a small group upon arrival, or will the company match you up with another group ?
Should i wait till arrival in Nairobi before booking this trip ?
Im trying to time this with the Wildebeast Migration and will be in the Maasai Mara either the last week of Sept. or the second week of October.
Is one time any better than the other ?
Im also considering Nairobi Backpackers although Primetime adds a extra day (5) as well as more time for game viewing in the Maasai.

I did a search on "Primetime Safaris" and found 2 comments. One lukewarm, the other said they're crap. Not much to go on.

Nairobi Backpackers have been getting bad reviews here of late. Lots of vehicle trouble and poor organization.

What about trying Gametrackers? Haven't heard anything bad about them on this branch.

Try http://www.KATOkenya.org and http://www.africaguide.com<BR>Every customer needs re-assurance from a recognized organization regarding their intended travels. These two were on my top list when I searched for safe travels in Kenya and Tanzania.
I agree with No. 1 that Trackers has good reviews here. However, they have set daprture dates whereas other recmmended companies have daily trips.

Sounds like it could be a bit touch-and-go, as I have heard a couple of bad reports. Worth noting however, that I had a great time with them in 2005. I was part of a group of 12, and we had a great few days, with no hassles at all.

I am curious which compnay you ended up using? I have a really great price from Primetime but have read all of the reviews and so am nervous to commit to a deposit...did you know any more about this company other than what is already in the thread?
