Place to stay in Seoul

Country forums / North-East Asia / South Korea

Will be in Seoul for a few days this week and am looking for somewhere central, private room, with character and mid priced. Any ideas?

And also, when is the best time to travel in Korea?
My friends were planning to go there but we want to go there during happy season.

There are a lot of motels('love hotels) around everey city area in South Korea. The price is about 50000won and you can have reasonbly clean and private room. Usually no need to make a reservation.
But if you need any help in Japanese or English, it is good to stay at tourist hotel usually higher price but good atmosphere and better service will be availabe than motels.
And if you need travel guidance to see around Seoul, you can visit Korea National Tourism Organization's internet homepage and also Gyeonggi Tourism Organization's homepage(http://japanese.ethankyou.co.kr/) to get a bunch of information about Gyeonggi area that surrounding Seoul that you can reach easily by public transportation.

Have good trip and life-long memory in South Korea.
