Phuket with a babyInterest forums / Kids To Go
Hi, | ||
We've not stayed at the resorts/hotel you mention (We usually stay over at Peach Hill), but I am sure you will enjoy Phuket. Baby foods are not widely available in Thailand, or rather they are available but the choice is very limited. So take a few with you and be prepared to feed your child from your own plate (non spicy of course). | 1
Thanks heaps for your info. One more question.....can I get yoghurt in Phuket? Also is there a reasonably sized supermarket in Patong or do I need to head into Phuket town? What about food markets so that I can get some fruit and vegies for the baby. | 2
There is a good supermarket in Patong Beach with most of the usual grocery items. As said above, larger diaper sizes are hard to come by, I think Thai babies are much smaller that western babies. I took my own supply of food and diapers for our 3yo. | 3
